A 37-year-old Caldicot resident has died before his scheduled sentencing appearance, following convictions for possession of illegal images at Newport Magistrates’ Court.

A 47-year-old man has been imprisoned for six months and banned from children’s areas after admitting to sexually assaulting a child under 13 in Caerphilly.

A 43-year-old Cwmbran resident has been prohibited from keeping dogs for 10 years after video evidence showed him kicking his English bulldog. The RSPCA successfully prosecuted the case, resulting in a community order and the dog’s rehoming.
