Tyler Evans, 25, of Colwyn Bay, has been sentenced to three years and two months at Mold Crown Court after being convicted of sexual assault and exposure following an attack on a woman in Eirias Park.

Colin Campbell, 24, was jailed for seven and a half years at Mold Crown Court after a series of unprovoked assaults on five strangers over four months. Recorder Neil Owen-Casey branded him a “vicious animal” and said it was “lucky” nobody was killed.

Jamie Williams, 24, was sentenced to five years and seven months at Mold Crown Court after beating his younger brother unconscious with a converted firearm and threatening others at gunpoint.

Kyle Robinson, 36, was sentenced to 43 months at Mold Crown Court after admitting burglary and inflicting grievous bodily harm on his partner while on bail.

Robert Mattravers, 47, of Runcorn, was sentenced to life in prison at Mold Crown Court after admitting multiple sexual offences against two children in Connah’s Quay. He must serve a minimum of 11 years and eight months.

John Watton, 52, of Holway, Flintshire, has been sentenced to 16 months at Mold Crown Court after sending explicit messages and an indecent image to a decoy posing as a 10-year-old girl.

Sion Douglas Griffiths, 38, was found guilty of rape at Caernarfon Crown Court after attacking a woman as she slept at a property in Llanrwst in August 2021. He was sentenced at Mold Crown Court to seven years’ imprisonment and given a lifetime restraining order.

Daniel Bremner, 35, of Mancot, was handed a life sentence at Mold Crown Court with a minimum term of 15 years after admitting 35 offences against four children.

Three men have been jailed and a woman given a suspended sentence after a gang conspired to burgle six homes across Wrexham and Flintshire, deliberately preying on elderly and vulnerable residents.

Richard Thomas, 41, was sentenced at Mold Crown Court to six years and three months after a sustained assault that left his partner with serious facial injuries and a burn mark. He has also been made subject to an indefinite Domestic Abuse Protection Order.
