Kyle O’Callaghan, 30, was sentenced at Newport Crown Court for the manslaughter of Marcus Carpenter, 37, who died four days after being struck outside the Picture House Wetherspoons in Ebbw Vale.

Dylan Dawes, 50, of Canton, Cardiff, was handed an 18-month suspended sentence at Newport Crown Court after being found guilty of six offences relating to more than 6,000 indecent images of children found on his devices.

Matthew Toyer, 46, of Abergavenny, was convicted at Newport Crown Court of sexually abusing a girl under 13. He was sentenced to 15 years’ custody with a one-year extended licence.

Phillip Harris, 58, was sentenced at Newport Crown Court for historical sexual offences against a child committed between 1989 and 1991.

Robin Vecchi was caught by paedophile hunting group Dank Dragon after encouraging what he believed was a teenage girl to perform a sexual act. He was handed a community order at Newport Crown Court.

Owen Evans, 39, of Barry, was sentenced to seven years in custody with a three-year extended licence at Newport Crown Court after admitting child sex offences against a 13-year-old girl.

George Evans, 21, was given a suspended sentence at Newport Crown Court after pleading guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children, with 565 of the most serious category found on his mobile phone.
