Four men and one woman have been convicted of more than 40 offences against three teenage girls following a three-month trial at Caernarfon Crown Court. The offending took place in Rhyl and the surrounding area between April 2022 and March 2024.

A Nationwide cashier has been jailed for 16 months after stealing more than £8,600 from elderly and vulnerable customers at a Caernarfon branch to fund a lavish lifestyle of luxury holidays.

Nathan Ellis, 39, of Tywyn, was given an 18-month suspended sentence at Caernarfon Crown Court after admitting to seven offences including making indecent images of children and possessing extreme pornography.
