Louise Harris drank a bottle of vodka from her client’s fridge before screaming abuse at the 81-year-old dementia sufferer she had been hired to care for. A judge at Swansea Crown Court told her the treatment had been “heartless and cruel”.

Thomas Jenkins, 34, from Llanelli, was sentenced to 30 months at Swansea Crown Court after child sexual abuse material including Category A videos was found on his devices. The former doctor had a previous conviction for targeting a child online.

Katie Kelshaw, 37, was sentenced to two years in prison at Swansea Crown Court after brandishing a kitchen knife near the High Street railway station, racially abusing officers, and being found with counterfeit cash and stolen bank cards.

Ashley Thomas, 34, of Porthcawl, was sentenced to 12 months in prison at Swansea Crown Court after pursuing a bus and violently assaulting a passenger over his daughter’s unverified accusation.

Leighton Burgess, 38, was sentenced to three years at Swansea Crown Court after admitting being concerned in the supply of cocaine, Valium, and pregabalin.
