Christopher Ponting, 37, filmed the jury and judge from the public gallery at Swansea Crown Court, causing a murder trial to collapse and restart. He has been jailed for eight months.

Callum Chadwick, 26, of Barn Street, Haverfordwest, was sentenced at Swansea Crown Court after using mass advertising texts to sell cocaine over a period of nearly two years. A judge said he had been “less than honest” about the scale of his dealing.

Richard Murnane, 42, has been jailed for 32 months at Swansea Crown Court after defrauding five homeowners of around £40,000 through two fraudulent roofing and property maintenance firms. Many of his victims were elderly.

Chris Williams, 40, of the Afan Valley, was sentenced to 28 months at Swansea Crown Court after admitting six offences including distributing indecent images of children.

Thomas Jenkins, 34, from Llanelli, was sentenced to 30 months at Swansea Crown Court after child sexual abuse material including Category A videos was found on his devices. The former doctor had a previous conviction for targeting a child online.

Katie Kelshaw, 37, was sentenced to two years in prison at Swansea Crown Court after brandishing a kitchen knife near the High Street railway station, racially abusing officers, and being found with counterfeit cash and stolen bank cards.
