Man guilty of Newport rape seven years after attempted rape

Radiet Meles, 35, was unanimously convicted of rape and assault by beating at Cardiff Crown Court, seven years after he was jailed for attempting to rape an unconscious woman at a Newport house party. He will be sentenced on November 20.
