Three people involved in an organised drugs operation in the Aberdare area have been sentenced to a combined 12 and a half years at Cardiff Crown Court after pleading guilty to cocaine and cannabis supply offences.

Ross Cooper, 44, formerly of Caerphilly, was jailed for six months at Cardiff Crown Court after admitting a second breach of a community order for possessing indecent images of children.

Toby Rogers, 34, from Barry was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court after admitting rape, assault by penetration, and assault by beating. He must serve two-thirds of his sentence before release on licence.
