Serial Thief Jailed for Stealing from Cancer Charity Shop

A serial shoplifter has been jailed after repeatedly targeting a charity shop in Abergavenny town centre 📦

Colin Morgan, 45, stole vacuum cleaners and trainers from Cancer Research on High Street during six separate thefts between January 22 and February 9, Newport Magistrates’ Court heard.

The defendant, of North Street, Abergavenny, pleaded guilty to all theft charges, as well as an additional charge of possessing 0.41g of heroin in Govilon on February 10.

Morgan has been sentenced to 22 weeks in prison and ordered to pay £215 in compensation to the charity shop.
