A 39-year-old Tredegar man has been sentenced to four-and-a-half years after a gang smashed their way into a family home in Ebbw Vale, forcing a mother and her three children to barricade themselves in a bedroom. The gang had targeted the wrong address.
Nicholas Page, 75, of Llanelli, died on May 7 after being transferred from HMP Parc to hospital. He had been sentenced to three years at Swansea Crown Court for child sexual offences.
