What officers found

The Bettws Neighbourhood Policing Team was already out on patrol in the area on Wednesday when reports came in about a vehicle that appeared to have been left behind.

Officers tracked it down and found it in a very damaged state. It was also obstructing the area.

Gwent Police said checks on the vehicle showed it was not insured.
