A 58-year-old woman from Aberavon has been sentenced to four years in prison after police discovered cocaine and cannabis at her home address.
Officers executing a warrant at Tracey Crew’s property on 29 November found a plastic carrier bag containing cocaine, substantial cash, and a fake soup tin concealing large wraps of white powder. Multiple cannabis plants were also discovered in a bedroom during the search.
Crew received a three-year sentence for possession with intent to supply cocaine, with an additional twelve months activated from a previous cannabis supply conviction.
Detective Sergeant Heather Southway said: “Tracey Crew was caught using her home address as a base for her drug supply operation and is now rightly beginning a prison sentence. Drug suppliers like this care only for the money that they make as a result of their illegal trade, and not about the countless lives that the drugs end up destroying further down the line. As this and other recent sentences have shown, we will take action upon all of those involved in illegal drug supply. They will be arrested, and they will find themselves in prison.”
