The leader of a cocaine dealing network in Swansea has been jailed for four years after police traced the operation back to him through the phone of another dealer. Two associates were also sentenced at Swansea Crown Court.

Robert Smith, 35, attacked a woman who had invited him to stay the night at her Aberystwyth home. He has been sentenced to 15 months in prison at Swansea Crown Court.

Michael Matthews, 70, was sentenced to 20 months at Swansea Crown Court after admitting five breaches of a restraining order. A judge also imposed a 10-year restraining order.

Jamie Lee Lewis, 42, of Brynmill, Swansea, was sentenced to 18 months at Swansea Crown Court after admitting threats to kill, breaching a restraining order, and shoplifting.

Patrick Smyth, 50, from Essex, has been sentenced to 22 months in prison at Swansea Crown Court after pleading guilty to coercive and controlling behaviour and other offences against a woman in Pembrokeshire.

Shane Kelly, 36, of Skewen, has been sentenced to 32 months in prison at Swansea Crown Court after police connected him to a mobile phone seized during a raid, which revealed he had been supplying cocaine to users and other dealers.

James Grenfell, 47, of Dyfatty, Swansea, was sentenced to 38 months after pleading guilty to attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm with intent at Swansea Crown Court.

Ashley Jones, 33, of Winch Wen, Swansea, was sentenced at Swansea Crown Court after admitting involvement in the supply of cocaine and cannabis. Officers uncovered Snapchat messages in which he told buyers his “prices won’t be beaten.”

Keoma Favourite, 21, was sentenced to 28 months in prison after plain-clothes officers caught him with almost 400 wraps of cocaine and crack cocaine in Swansea’s St Helen’s area.

Many Kirimi, 23, of Newport, has been jailed for two years after counterfeit tobacco and illegal vapes worth more than £40,000 were found at a shop in Pontarddulais.

Jake Ware, 26, of Pwll, has been sentenced to three years in prison after Dyfed-Powys Police seized approximately £4,000 worth of crack cocaine during a search warrant at a Llanelli property.

Martin Guard, 46, who has more than 140 previous offences on his record, was sentenced to 16 months at Swansea Crown Court after admitting to assaulting and strangling his partner outside a Wetherspoon pub in Llanelli.
