A 30-year-old man who attacked a woman walking alone at night in Swansea has been jailed for eight years.
Mohangopi Tadiboyina, of Brynmill, was sentenced at Swansea Crown Court on Friday September 4 for attempted rape and sexual assault. He had been found guilty of both counts following a three-day trial in July.
The attack
The offences took place on Kings Road, Swansea, in October 2024. South Wales Police said Tadiboyina targeted the woman while she was on her own, walking the street after dark.
She managed to get away from him and alerted a passer-by, who helped her report what had happened.
