Teen arrested after Carmarthen school lockdown

🚨👮 A 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of threats to kill after Ysgol Bro Myrddin in Carmarthen was placed into lockdown on Wednesday.

Dyfed-Powys Police responded to reports of threats made against a pupil at the school. The teenager, from Carmarthenshire, remains in police custody.

The force confirmed the school will reopen as normal on Thursday, but added that a “precautionary police presence” would be on site “to provide reassurance and support to pupils and staff”.
