A Swansea man has been sentenced to 12 months in prison for his involvement in a large-scale cannabis operation. 🌿⚖️

34-year-old Aldi Pire, from Mount Pleasant, was detained during a warrant executed at an address on Cromwell Street, where officers discovered over 100 mature cannabis plants and between 125-150 infant plants.

Sergeant Craig Evans said:

“Aldi Pire is just the latest individual to be sent to prison due to his part in the illegal drug trade.

“Cannabis factories such as this are set up in a way that dangerously reroutes electricity from other sources, which poses a great danger to neighbouring properties, not to mention the other illegal activities which are funded by producing cannabis on this scale.

“However, people like Aldi Pire do not give consideration to these dangers.”
