Gwent Police have arrested four people following early morning raids at two properties in Newport, recovering Class A drugs and thousands in cash. 🚔

Officers executed simultaneous warrants at addresses on Coniston Close and Cot Farm Close on Thursday 19 December, seizing approximately £2,000 in cash, substantial quantities of heroin and crack cocaine, multiple mobile phones, weighing scales and presses.

Three individuals – two men aged 21 and 29, and a 42-year-old woman – were arrested at the Coniston Close address on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine.

At Cot Farm Close, officers arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.

PC Jack Passmore, who is leading the investigation, said: “The public play such a vital role in providing us with important information, and we encourage anyone with concerns to get in touch immediately.

“We’re determined to identify, pursue, and disrupt those involved in the production, sale and supply of illegal drugs and prey on the vulnerable within our communities.”

All four suspects remain in police custody as enquiries continue.
