Newport Drug Raid: Man Arrested as Cash and Weapon Seized

Police have arrested a 35-year-old Newport man following a dawn raid in Clyffard Crescent this morning 💊⚖️

Officers from Gwent Police’s serious organised crime team executed a warrant at the address on Friday 30 May, leading to the suspect being taken into custody on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

During the search, police seized cash, mobile phones and a weapon from the property.

The man remains in police custody whilst enquiries continue.
