🚔 A late-night McDonald’s visit ended with jail time after a driver crashed his vehicle whilst leaving the Broughton restaurant on Friday evening.
Ethan Marshall, 31, from Hawarden, failed to stop at the scene but was later apprehended by North Wales Police, who confirmed he tested positive for alcohol at the roadside.
Speaking about the incident, North Wales Police said: “A man has been jailed for drink driving after being involved in a collision as he left McDonalds in Broughton, before driving away. Ethan Marshall, 31, of Upper Aston Hall Lane, Hawarden, was arrested on Friday (January 24th) following the incident.
“He was remanded into custody and appeared at Mold Magistrates Court the following day charged with being over twice the legal drink drive limit, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.
“Marshall was jailed for 16 weeks and was banned from driving for 51 weeks. Not a ‘happy meal’ for him, in the end.” 🚓
