A 44-year-old man has been sentenced to three years in prison after admitting his involvement in supplying class A drugs on Anglesey.
Christopher McGrath, of Stad Cae Rhun, Cemaes, pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Crown Court on Tuesday, 17 March, to being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
The investigation
McGrath was arrested in December 2025 following a joint operation between North Wales Police and Merseyside Police. The investigation centred on a drug supply network operating in Amlwch.
Phone evidence
When officers seized McGrath’s phone, they discovered bulk messages advertising cocaine that had been sent between July and December 2025.
Sentencing
Along with his three-year prison sentence, McGrath was also handed a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
⚖️ Sergeant Dylan Thomas of the Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Drug dealing is a blight to our local communities and directly affects those who live and work in the area.
“Criminals who are involved in organised crime have no thought for anyone other than themselves and will cause devastating harm to vulnerable people for their own financial gain.
“Our team will continue to make Anglesey a hostile environment for those who engage in organised criminality and bring offenders to justice.”
