A 29-year-old man from Llanfairpwll has died following a road traffic collision on the A5025 near Pentraeth, and his family have now paid tribute to him.
Arwyn Jones was involved in a collision on Pentraeth Road on Sunday, 25 January, between Pen-Y-Garnedd and Pentraeth Automotive. The incident involved a grey Peugeot 208 and a gold Audi A5 Quattro.
His wife, Sioned, has shared a heartfelt tribute:
“As his wife, I am heartbroken. Arwyn was a much-loved husband, father, son, and brother and as a family, our lives have changed forever following his loss.
“Arwyn and I had been together for over 15 years and was the love of my life. Our daughter, Lilly, was his life. Our world has been torn apart.
“He would do anything for anybody and enjoyed his work as a kitchen assistant at a care home in Pentraeth, where he had worked since September last year.
“He was Star Wars mad, he enjoyed gaming, loved going for long walks in the woods and chopping wood with his dad.
“We will all miss him dearly.”
North Wales Police continue to appeal for witnesses and information as their investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
Anyone who was driving along the A5025 at around 6.30am on 25 January and may have witnessed the incident, or who has relevant dash-cam footage, is asked to contact officers via the North Wales Police website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 26000067199.
