A family have spoken of the “void that can never be filled” after a husband, father and grandfather died following a collision on the A40.
Shane Hamilton, 51, died after a road traffic collision between Bwlch and Brecon. Dyfed-Powys Police said it happened at around 2.30pm on Saturday 5 September.
The tribute
His family said they were “completely heartbroken”, and recalled the time he spent riding his motorbike with his son Luke.
In a statement released through Dyfed-Powys Police, they said:
“We as a family are completely heartbroken by the tragic loss of Shane.
“He was a deeply loved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and best friend who brought so much joy to our family and everyone that knew him.
“One of his passions in life was riding his motorbike with his son Luke. The memories they made together on those rides will be treasured forever.
“Shane leaves behind a void that can never be filled and he will be missed beyond words by all his family and friends.
“Goodnight god bless.”
