A woman from Chepstow has been ordered to pay £760 after being found guilty of unlawfully collecting rent at a property without the required licence.
Alison Lawson, of Coal Road, Chepstow, collected rent at an address on Glendower Street in Monmouth last May without being properly licensed to do so.
The case was heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court, where Lawson was convicted in her absence. She was ordered to pay a total of £760 comprising a fine, costs and a surcharge.
