Simon Heron, 58, has pleaded guilty to making indecent images of children after appearing at Newport Magistrates’ Court. 📱👨⚖️
The Sudbrook resident admitted to possessing more than 1,000 illegal images, including 141 category A images – the most serious classification. He also had 177 category B images and 885 category C images.
The court heard that Heron, of Sea View, Sudbrook, near Caldicot, committed these offences over a period of nearly ten years, between June 2014 and January 2024.
The case has been committed to the crown court, with sentencing scheduled for 6th June. Heron was granted unconditional bail until that date.
