A woman from Newport has been ordered to pay more than £700 after admitting to collecting rent at a property without the required licence.
Wendy Willis, of Stow Park Crescent, Newport, pleaded guilty at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court to unlawfully collecting rent at a flat on the same street.
The court heard the offence took place on July 23 last year.
Willis was fined £293 and ordered to pay £352 in costs along with a £117 surcharge – bringing her total to £762.
