The family of a young man who lost his life in a collision in Maesteg have described him as someone who was always willing to help others and whose personality made those around him smile.
Brandon Tatchell, 21, died following a road traffic collision at the junction of Llynfi Road and Upper Street in the early hours of Saturday, April 25.
South Wales Police say the collision occurred at 12:04am, and their investigation into the circumstances remains ongoing.
Family tribute
Brandon’s family have released the following tribute:
“Brandon was a much-loved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
“Brandon’s fun-loving demeanour will truly be missed by everyone. Anyone who knew Brandon will know that if someone needed help or guidance he would always try his upmost to help in whichever way he could.
“Brandon was a hard-working young man who loved to be at work, and everyone was proud of Brandon for advancing himself through the company.
“Brandon had many friends and family who would tell you he is a character and made them smile often.”

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around that time is asked to contact South Wales Police.
