Lewis Thompson-Gill has been sentenced to a total of two years and four months in prison after being convicted of inflicting grievous bodily harm on a woman in Pembrokeshire.

The 35-year-old, of Worcester Road in Little Witley, was handed the sentence at Swansea Crown Court by Recorder Paul Lewis KC.

The offence

Thompson-Gill attacked the woman in Tenby on December 28 during the Christmas period. He denied the charge but was found guilty following a trial, with the verdict delivered on March 2.

Sentence breakdown

The total prison term comprised 20 months for the GBH conviction alongside a separate eight-month suspended sentence, which was activated in full.

That suspended sentence had originally been imposed at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on May 6 last year after Thompson-Gill was convicted of two offences of breaching a non-molestation order.

He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £187 within three months of his release.
