A 51-year-old Tredegar man has been given an 18-month Criminal Behaviour Order following repeated offences in the town centre.
Jason Llewellyn received the order at Newport Magistrates Court on 4th December 2025, designed to tackle his pattern of anti-social behaviour in the area.
The Criminal Behaviour Order prohibits Llewellyn from:
– Attending the Gwent Shopping Centre in Tredegar
– Attending Commercial Street in Tredegar
Tredegar Ward Manager, PC Connor Jones said: “We have applied for this order due to the anti-social and criminal behaviour Jason Llewellyn has caused in the Tredegar area. It’s hoped that by obtaining this order residents and local shop owners will feel re-assured that Jason Llewellyn will be dealt with positively. Anyone who sees Jason Llewellyn breaching this order in anyway can contact us immediately on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
Criminal Behaviour Orders provide authorities with an additional tool to manage individuals engaged in anti-social behaviour or criminal activity.
Members of the public who witness any breach of the order are urged to contact Gwent Police on 101, or 999 in an emergency.
