Tenby landlord fined for collecting rent illegally

A landlord from Tenby has been hit with a bill of more than £1,300 after being convicted of renting out properties without the required licence.

Anthony Moses, of Battery Road, Tenby, was found guilty in his absence at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court of four charges of unlawfully collecting rent while unlicensed.

The court heard the offences took place at properties in the Aberdare area of Rhondda Cynon Taf during April 2025.

Moses was fined £660 and ordered to pay £427 in costs along with a £264 surcharge – bringing the total to £1,351.
