A 19-year-old man has been jailed for two years and eight months after subjecting a woman to months of violent attacks that left her with “significant physical injuries” 💔
Isus Hristov, of Salisbury Street, Shotton, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Thursday (September 11) where he admitted multiple charges of assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm against his victim.
The court heard his campaign of violence took place between October 2024 and June 2025.
Hristov has also been made subject to a Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO) for 15 years, which prohibits him from contacting his victim by any means and from being in the vicinity of her home address.
District Inspector Rob Stevenson, former North Wales Police VAWG Tactical delivery Manager, said: “This sentence reflects our continued efforts to combat violence against women and girls and raise public trust to encourage victims to speak out against violence.
“We are working hard to ensure robust action will be taken against anyone who commits offences of violence towards women and girls in North Wales.
