Swansea Man Jailed 8 Months for Stalking Ex-partner

A 54-year-old man from Hafod has been sentenced to eight months in prison after pleading guilty to stalking his ex-partner and assaulting both her and her son 👮‍♂️

Johnathan Price began his course of behaviour against the woman in June this year. When she reported his actions to police, Price pressured her to retract her statement and sent several messages attempting to influence her decision.

PC Bennett said: “Johnathan Price conducted a campaign of stalking and harassment against his ex-partner which nobody should have to tolerate. The fact that this would turn violent shows that he is a dangerous man. He left the victim worried of what he was going to do next, including whether he would turn up at her address. Any form of stalking or harassment is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated by police. Anyone who is experiencing this sort of behaviour should report it to us right away.”
