An 83-year-old man has admitted possessing indecent images of children after appearing before Newport Magistrates’ Court.
Roy Robertson, of Larch Grove, Caerphilly, pleaded guilty to making one category A indecent photograph of a child – the most serious classification – along with two category B indecent photographs of a child.
The offences were committed between February 18 and October 8, 2025.
Robertson’s case has been adjourned until March 25 to allow for the preparation of a pre-sentence report. He was granted unconditional bail.
