Cwmbran Man Arrested in Oakfield Cannabis Raid

Neighbourhood officers in Torfaen have arrested a 27-year-old Cwmbran man following a drugs raid at a property in the Oakfield area this morning 🚔

The search warrant was executed on Monday 2 June, where officers discovered and seized class B drugs, cash, a mobile phone and drug paraphernalia including scales and bags.

The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and remains in custody.

PC Kyle Rodway, officer in the case, said: “Officers have detained a Cwmbran man, and seized a substantial amount of cannabis following a warrant in Oakfield this morning.

“Operations like today’s are often helped with information provided by the public.

“Tackling drug supply and protecting the public from illegal drugs and associated crime is a priority for us; this warrant demonstrates that information you provide around illegal drugs has the potential to make a huge impact on your community.
