Tributes have been paid to a “very special” couple who were among three people who died in a two-vehicle collision in Powys.
David and Pamela were killed when their red Toyota Yaris was involved in a crash with a grey Audi A4 on the A489 between Churchstoke and Lydham in Snead at about 16:50 GMT on 11 December. The driver of the Audi also died in the collision.
A passenger in the Toyota was taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries.
In a statement issued by Dyfed-Powys Police, the family of David and Pamela said: “We would like to thank everyone for their support at this horrific time. It has meant so much to the whole family.
“David and Pamela were loving members of our family and very special to us all. They had moved to the area earlier this year to enjoy their retirement.
“We ask for privacy and time to grieve.”
Officers have renewed their appeal for anyone with information or video footage of the collision to contact Dyfed-Powys Police.
