A 36-year-old man has been sentenced to prison following a successful police operation in Gendros, Swansea.
Jason Carmichael was arrested after officers executed a warrant at his property in December, discovering substantial quantities of cocaine, ketamine and cannabis, alongside cash and drug-related equipment.
The court handed down a 40-month prison sentence for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of criminal property.
PC Jake Reynish praised the local community’s involvement, stating: “Anyone who is involved in illegal drug supply is contributing to a system which causes untold harm and misery in our communities.
“We would like to thank the members of the community in Gendros who provided intelligence regarding Jason Carmichael’s drugs operation, for which he has rightly been jailed.
“Anyone involved in the illegal drugs trade should be aware that our officers will identify you, and you will be brought to justice.” 🚨
