A man from Swansea has been jailed for five years after pleading guilty to all four charges against him.

Callum Randall, aged 27, from Portmead, was sentenced for two counts of assault by beating, criminal damage, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, and attempt to cause GBH.

The offence of controlling and coercive behaviour took place over a number of years, including stopping the victim from sleeping and eating.

He appeared before Cardiff Crown Court on Friday, 24th October 2025, where he was sentenced to a total of five years in prison. He is also subject to a restraining order lasting 15 years.

Sergeant Draisey said: “Callum Randall made the victim’s life an absolute misery with his long-running campaign of unacceptable behaviour.

“Nobody should have to experience this type of abuse, and I hope that the victim can now move forward with her life.”
