A 39-year-old man from Denbighshire has been sentenced to prison for a series of violent offences against a woman. ⚖️
Craig Berry, of Spring Gardens Holiday Park, St Asaph, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court for sentencing on Tuesday, 21 October.
Berry had previously admitted multiple charges of assault, intentional strangulation, engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour, theft, and making threats to kill.
The offences, which occurred between October 2024 and March 2025, involved a 37-year-old female victim.
Officers arrested Berry on 13 March 2025 after his victim reported a serious assault in Denbigh, during which she was bitten to the face and struck to the head.
The victim subsequently made further disclosures of verbal and physical abuse towards her by Berry, resulting in significant charges being brought against him.
Berry was sentenced to 32 months in prison and made subject to a five-year restraining order prohibiting any contact with the victim and her children.
