A 75-year-old man from the Vale of Glamorgan has pleaded guilty to possessing indecent images of children.
Ian Walton, of Murlande Way, Rhoose, admitted three counts of making indecent images of children when he appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
The court heard Walton had four category A images — the most serious classification — along with 12 category B and 16 category C images.
The offences took place between October 4 and November 22, 2024.
Walton’s case has been committed to Cardiff Crown Court, where he is due to be sentenced on June 15.
He was granted conditional bail ahead of his sentencing hearing.
