A 34-year-old woman from Newport has been handed a fine after she admitted to not having a television licence.
Sarah Croft, of Colston Avenue, appeared before Derby Justice Centre on February 9 where she pleaded guilty to using or installing a television set without a valid licence.
Magistrates fined Croft £40 for the offence and ordered her to pay £120 in costs along with a £16 surcharge – bringing her total bill to £176.
