A drug dealer caught supplying Class A drugs from a Milford Haven hotel has been ordered to repay more than £22,000 💷⚖️

Brian Wright and Leanne Harland were busted at the Tŷ Milford Waterfront hotel in December 2023 after arousing suspicion by acting strangely and being aggressive towards staff.

Police seized 13.77 grams of amphetamine, 46 grams of ketamine, and 22 grams of cocaine which had been packed “for onward supply”, along with mobile phones and snap bags.

Officers found lines of cocaine set out on a tray in their room, as well as a black lockbox containing cash, weighing scales, and more drugs.

Wright’s phone contained messages showing his involvement in dealing, whilst Harland’s phone also had drug-related messages and videos of her picking up “large amounts of cash” with Wright in the background putting white powder into a pipe.

Prosecutor Georgia Donohue told the court: “It was clearly a joint operation between the two defendants.”

The court also heard that Harland’s daughter was in the room during parts of their stay.

In June last year, Wright, of Hubberston, was jailed for three years after admitting being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of ketamine and amphetamine, and possession of criminal property.

Harland was sentenced to 30 months after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

At Swansea Crown Court, Judge Huw Rees made a confiscation order against Wright for £22,745.76 under the Proceeds of Crime Act. The court heard Wright had assets worth £88,233.67 available to be seized.

The Proceeds of Crime Act application for Harland was withdrawn in February after the court was told she had passed away, aged 42.
