A 25-year-old man from Church Village has been sentenced to two years and five months in prison after pleading guilty to cocaine supply offences. ⚖️

Scott Ware, of Fardre Court, was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday, October 22, having entered his guilty plea on September 16, 2025.

The case began when South Wales Police’s Organised Crime Unit responded to an unrelated incident in the Beddau area on July 11, 2025. During their response, officers seized several mobile phones which sparked their investigation.

Following inquiries, officers located Ware at his mother’s house, where he was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

PC Brett O’Hagan of the Organised Crime Unit said: “This case highlights our commitment to tackling drug-related crime in our communities. We will continue to work diligently to disrupt and dismantle criminal networks that threaten public safety. It is vital that we send a clear message that drug supply will not be tolerated.”

The sentencing reflects South Wales Police’s ongoing efforts to address and reduce drug-related offences across the region.
