A 28-year-old drug dealer has been sentenced to prison following his arrest on Christmas Eve last year. 💉

Shane Agoreyo from Fairwater, Cardiff, was jailed for three years and eight months after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.

Cardiff Crown Court heard on February 27 that Agoreyo had been running the ‘Sk’ and ‘S’ drugs line since April 2024, with evidence showing he had sent out 3,224 messages advertising the sale of Class A drugs over a six-month period.

The dealer was caught after police seized a mobile phone during an unconnected investigation, which revealed hundreds of messages from him about the supply of drugs.

“South Wales Police has a zero-tolerance approach to drug dealing and this case is just one example of how we are tackling drug dealing in the community,” a police spokesperson said.

“We can, and regularly do, act upon the information provided to us by the public, so please keep it coming.” 🚔
