A 50-year-old man has been sentenced to a year in prison after admitting to two burglaries across the Merthyr Tydfil and Mountain Ash areas late last year.
Raymond Weatherley, from Bridgend, broke into a nursery between November and December, taking three Apple iPads and a laptop.
A month later, he targeted another property in Mountain Ash, stealing £400 in cash along with five iPads.
Weatherley pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary when he appeared before Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court on Monday, February 2.
He was sentenced to one year in prison.
