Valley Man Jailed for Cocaine and Cannabis Supply Offences

Police have locked up a 27-year-old man who was caught offering to supply cocaine and cannabis in the Gwent valleys. 📱💊

Joshua Evans, from Mount Pleasant Road in Risca, was sentenced to 30 months in prison at Newport Crown Court after admitting to offering to sell drugs in both Risca and Rhymney.

The court heard that police discovered incriminating evidence on Evans’ mobile phone during their investigation into offences that took place in 2023.

Recorder Robin Rouch, who presided over the case, also ordered Evans to pay a £228 victim surcharge following his release from custody.
