A Waunarlwydd man has been sentenced to three years and eight months in prison after admitting cocaine supply offences.

Liam Bell, 31, was arrested during a warrant executed at his address on 2nd October. A subsequent Section 18 search uncovered multiple snap bags containing white residue, scales, a mixer blade, and other paraphernalia linked to drug dealing.

Bell appeared at Swansea Magistrates Court in October, where he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

PC Corey Morris, from the SNPT Organised Crime Team, said: “Liam Bell clearly failed to learn his lesson after his previous conviction for drugs-related offences.

“He should have taken the opportunity to leave the drug trade and turn a new page in his life. However, he chose not to do that and is now paying the price again.

“Anyone involved in the production and supply of Class A drugs should know that this illegal trade does not pay. What you think is going to earn you easy money is instead going to earn you an easy trip to prison.”
