A young drug dealer who flooded Newport streets with heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis has been locked up for four years.
Twenty-year-old Abutalha Sakibazad faced Cardiff Crown Court after police caught him red-handed with a substantial haul of Class A drugs and dirty money on January 6.
Officers seized 38.77 grams of diamorphine and 38.03 grams of crack cocaine from Sakibazad, along with cannabis and suspected criminal cash during the Newport operation.
The Commercial Street resident was charged with three counts of drug trafficking and possession of criminal property – crimes he admitted in full when he appeared before the court.
Recorder Greg Bull KC handed down the four-year prison term after Sakibazad pleaded guilty to possessing heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply, as well as the money laundering charge.
