Newbridge paedophile caught with child abuse images

A paedophile from Newbridge has been handed a suspended prison sentence after being caught with dozens of child abuse films and photos.

Lyndon Moore, 26, pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children at Cardiff Crown Court.

The defendant had 45 images at category A – the most serious kind – 27 at category B and four at category C.

Moore’s offending took place between July 18, 2022 and March 31.

He was jailed for eight months with the sentence suspended for 18 months.

The defendant, formerly of Windsor Avenue, Newbridge, now living in Swansea, will have to complete a 30-day rehabilitation activity requirement and carry out 140 hours of unpaid work.

Moore must register as a sex offender for the next 10 years and he was also made the subject of a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
