A Swansea man has been sentenced to two years and eight months in prison for his role in supplying Class A drugs across the city 🚔
Scott Boland, 26, from Morriston, was caught after police identified him through mobile phone downloads connected to a drug line. When arrested in August 2024, officers discovered £345 in cash and 10.5 grams of cocaine in his vehicle.
A subsequent search of his home uncovered an additional 16 grams of cocaine hidden in his bedroom, along with more cash, bringing the total amount seized to £2,960.26. Police also found an extendable baton during the search.
In January, Boland pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, and possessing criminal property.
Detective Sergeant Luke Tucker said: “Scott Boland was selling cocaine to the tune of thousands of pounds, but he knew that what he was doing was illegal. He now has nothing to show for his illegal activities, other than a spell in prison. We will continue to pursue and arrest anyone involved in the illegal drug trade. To anyone considering becoming involved in it: you will be caught, and you will go to prison.” 💊
