A man sustained a stab wound to his leg at Barry Island on Bank Holiday Monday, prompting South Wales Police to launch an investigation.
The incident
The victim’s injuries have been confirmed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
Police response
Officers are now working to identify and arrest a suspect in connection with the attack.
Insp Lisa Gore said: “A team of officers are carrying out arrest inquiries for the suspect.”
She added that the force was appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
