A 25-year-old man from Rhondda Cynon Taf has been sentenced to five years and three months in prison following a major drug bust that uncovered cocaine, cannabis, dried mushrooms, and nearly £7,000 in cash. 💰⚖️

Conor Holt, from Heol Undeb, Beddau, was arrested on January 17, 2025, after detectives linked him to drug supply offences. The investigation began when two other individuals were arrested on January 16, leading officers directly to Holt.

When police searched Holt’s home, they discovered a significant haul of illegal substances stored in plastic wrappings and grip seal bags, alongside a large quantity of dried mushrooms and cannabis. Officers also found approximately £6,850 in cash and other valuables suggesting involvement in drug trafficking.

A further £250 was recovered from Holt’s vehicle during a separate search, providing crucial evidence for the prosecution.

Detective Inspector Ian Jones said: “This case highlights the organised nature of drug supply operations and our efforts to combat such criminal activities in the Pontypridd area.”

On Friday, May 23, Holt was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court for multiple offences including possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine), possession of cocaine, acquiring criminal property, being concerned in the supply of cocaine, and possession of Class B drugs (cannabis/cannabis resin).
