A 25-year-old man has been sentenced to 15 months behind bars after being found with a homemade firearm and ammunition. 🔎
Spencer Tse from Machen, Caerphilly, who later moved to Edgeware, London, received his sentence at Newport Crown Court on Friday following a counter terrorism probe.
Tse pleaded guilty to two offences under the Firearms Act and two additional offences related to possession of extreme pornography.
Detective Chief Inspector Leanne Williams from Counter Terrorism Policing Wales said: “We welcome the outcome that was handed down at court today. The sentence follows a lengthy and complex investigation into the production of homemade firearms and possession of ammunition. We continue to work closely with partner agencies and police forces across Wales to supress the availability of illegal firearms. The removal and seizure of these items helps to make our communities a safer place to be. The support from the public in reporting any information about 3D printed weapons is vital. We’d encourage people to report concerns to us via gov.uk/ACT.”
