A man from Benllech on Anglesey has been jailed for six years after being found guilty of raping a woman in Cheshire.
Connor Dunkley, 31, of Fern Hill, was sentenced at Chester Crown Court on 10 July.
The offences
The rape conviction came alongside findings of criminal damage and a further serious offence, all returned at an earlier hearing. Cheshire Constabulary said the offences against his victim were committed within the county.
Police reaction
Detective Constable Ashley Frowe said: “Dunkley’s behaviour towards this woman was vile, unforgivable and callous. The sentence reflects the seriousness of his crimes and that behaving in this way will not be tolerated.”
